Frequently asked questions
Where does my handicap come from?
You enter your Handicap Index yourself, as your federation lists it. The app derives your course and playing handicap using WHS 2024. We never submit anything to a federation.
Which courses are included?
Courses in the Netherlands and a growing number in Belgium and Germany, with par, stroke index, course rating and slope per tee.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Scoring works fully offline. As soon as you have signal again, your scores sync with the rest of your flight.
How do I join the beta?
Tap ‘Join the beta’ on your iPhone. You first install TestFlight, Apple’s app for test versions, and then Golfgappies. The beta is free and you can leave any time.
Does it work on Android?
The app is built for iPhone and Android. The iPhone version comes first, Android follows.
What do you do with my data?
We only keep what is needed to score together: your email, name, Handicap Index, your rounds and any photos. Your location is only used on your phone and never stored. Read the privacy policy.
